How these Shorts lists are made
This list has 50 Shorts from 50 channels with 100.1M views in total; the average Short is 0:56 long.
All numbers come straight from the YouTube Data API and are refreshed once a day. Hourly growth is our own estimate: views gained since the previous day’s count, divided by the hours that passed.
We count a video as a Short when it is vertical or square and up to 3 minutes long. Live streams, news channels, and videos whose likes and comments don’t match their views (ads or bought views) are left out, and each channel appears only once per list.

Today’s lists (worldwide and in each country) are ranked by views gained in the last 24 hours; worldwide lists only include videos trending in several countries. The most viewed lists show this week’s uploads sorted by total views.
What counts as a YouTube Short?
A vertical or square video up to 3 minutes long. Live streams and horizontal videos are not included.
Why is a viral video missing from my country’s list?
Country lists only include videos that clearly belong to that country, one per channel. News channels, live streams and videos with suspicious numbers are left out.
What do the arrows mean?
They show how many places a video moved since yesterday’s list. NEW means it entered the list today.
