How these Shorts lists are made
This list has 20 Shorts from 20 channels with 3.9M views in total; the average Short is 0:50 long.
All numbers come straight from the YouTube Data API and are refreshed once a day. Hourly growth is our own estimate: views gained since the previous day’s count, divided by the hours that passed.
We count a video as a Short when it is vertical or square and up to 3 minutes long. Live streams, news channels, and videos whose likes and comments don’t match their views (ads or bought views) are left out, and each channel appears only once per list.
By length
| Length | Videos | Avg. views | Likes / 1K views |
|---|---|---|---|
| 0:15–0:30 | 5 | 69.6K | 24.0 |
| 0:30–1:00 | 12 | 275.3K | 20.9 |
| 1:00–2:00 | 2 | 98.6K | 40.4 |
| 2:00–3:00 | 1 | 69.4K | 16.7 |
How the ranking works
Country lists show Shorts that clearly belong to that country (the channel is based there, the Short is in the local language, or it is on the country’s YouTube trending chart), ranked by views gained in the last 24 hours.

How often is ShortsTrends updated?
Once a day. The time of the last update is shown at the top of every list.

A vertical or square video up to 3 minutes long. Live streams and horizontal videos are not included.
Why is a viral video missing from my country’s list?
